The latest version of StrictOne has been released. It comes with huge changes. Most of important is a new way for theme installation. First is a standard way through a theme uploading. Second is an installation of ST Kit plugin.
ST Kit is an extended functionality for WordPress theme created by StrictThemes. The plugin comes with widgets, shortcodes, a bunch of icons, portfolio projects, style tweaking, site branding etc. The new way of theme development allows to save a lot of time for customers and developer. For now, all updates will be delivered shortly. New features and functionality available immediately after updating the plugin archive on strictthemes.com. Plugin installation and updates are fully automatically. Just one click. Now all updates for themes are automatically too.
Now the StrictOne is compatible with high resolution devices like a laptops with Retina screens. New post formats have been added: gallery, video and audio. Collection of icons comes with 100+ unique glyphs.
Update tips
Because the new version of theme comes with a huge changes, please follow all recommendations, I’ve wrote below, after upgrade.
- Go to Theme Panel and update all settings.
- Check widgets
- Check shortcodes
- Disable a compatibility with HiDPI screens if you do not need that. See Theme Panel > Misc.
